Our participation to the "Dev Days"
European Development Days 2010 in Brussels
The European Development Days 2010 took place on 6/7 December in Brussels. The Practitioners' Network, together with EDFI (European Development Finance Institutions) organized a well-attended high level panel on "Small and Medium Enterprises - Motor of Development". The network also had an information stand in the Development Village.
Stockholm, 22-24 October 2009
European development Practitioners and the Practitioners' Network, like the previous years, were actively present in the 2009 edition of the European Development Days.
The Network had its own stand in the Development Village, which provided for a visible presence and facilitated new contacts.
Parallel Events
Members of the Practitioners' Network organised and/or participated to many of the 25 parallel events. Indeed, they were concerned and active in the three main thematics of this year edition, which were (i) the global economic downturn, (ii) democracy and development and (iii) climate change.
High-level representatives of the Members of the Network were invited to an informal lunch and discussion on Thursday, 22 October in the premises of the Exhibition Centre.
