On 4 March, the Swedish Representation will host a seminar on the theme: Support to an Enabling Environment for Civil Society in Development Cooperation. The seminar will focus on experiences and lessons learned; current challenges and the way forward for donors and civil society actors to more effectively support an enabling environment in partner countries. 

The session will include presentations by colleagues from the Commission and from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), followed by a panel discussion between Mr Felix Fernandez Shaw, Director of DEVCO Directorate A; International Cooperation and Development Policy, Mr Alan AtKisson, Assistant Director General and Director of the Department for Partnership and Innovation at Sida, and Civil Society representatives.
