We are pleased to invite you to the first session of the PN’s Private Sector Workstream in 2024
on the topic of “Private Sector Engagement for Future Skills Development”.

What?

Within the session we will try to identify the future’s labor market skills demand within partner countries of European ODA, and we will kick-off the development of joint action to tackle the resulting challenges as Team Europe to create decent jobs. We want to better understand what skills on the job market will be needed in the future, and what European ODA can do to develop these skills in collaboration with private sector stakeholders. To do so, we want to start the event with a "State of the Art" session at the beginning. In short, engaging and output-oriented presentations by the Member State Organizations, successfully implemented approaches in private sector engagement in future skills development will be presented and takeaways will be shared and discussed.

The second part will feature a future prediction on skills demand by an external stakeholder and presented in a stimulating 15-minute presentation, followed by a discussion of the prediction as well as an exchange on potential necessary steps to do, based on what have been heard.
